For powder
- 1 tbsp urad dekaliter
- 1 tbsp chana decalitre
- 3 red chilies (use as needed)
- 1 twig groom leaves (optional)
- 1 to 2 garlic cloves (optional)
- 3 tbsps sesame seeds
- ½ tsp cumin (jeera)
- 2 tbsps dry coco / copra (optional)
Other ingredients
- 1 tbsp anele
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- ¼ tsp mustard
- ½ red chili broken
- 1 pinch hing / asafoetida
- table salt as needed
- 1 ½ cups cooked rice

Cook rice grainy and not mushy. Cool off completely.

Heat a pan on a medium flame. Add urad decaliter, chana dal and red chlies.

Knock these till lightly golden.

Add garlic, curry leaves, sesame seeds, cumin and coconut tree.

How to make sesame rice
